kirchara has been obsessed with passionate about reading ever since she was three and obsessed with passionate about writing ever since she was nine.

She is the mother of a five-year-old kindergartner who she extensively afterschools and a ten-month-old who is extremely mobile and very curious. She hopes her oldest will continue to retain his curiosity about the world, his penchant for problem-solving and his love for books through his school years.

The current purpose of this DW journal is to chronicle learning moments for her eldest (reading, writing, Mandarin, etc.), her youngest and herself.
