Did you know that Luo Binwang (640-684, Tang poet) wrote "Ode to Goose" when he was seven years old?

Date: 2019-05-30 10:15 am (UTC)This reminds me that I should read English poems with Brooks. At six years old, River memorized several English poems, including: Christina Rosetti's "Caterpillar," R. L. Stevenson's "Whole Duty of Children," and Dennis Lee's "Skyscraper." Of course unlike Brooks, River was not taking piano and Mandarin lessons in kindergarten/first grade.
